EDG secured themselves one more victory against SN in their last match this regular season with a score of 2-0 today. The team has ended Regular Split with a final score of 9-6 and currently ranked 5th on the ladder. It took about 50 minutes for EDG to win the first game after they turned the situation around with impressive teamfights in the late game. Furthermore, they were encouraged by their Game 1 victory and started off with an advantage in the Bot Lane early Game 2. The whole team performed well to best their opponents. The Bot Lane duo, iBoy and Meiko, were crowned MVPs.

Let's take a quick look at what they said about their last match in the Regular Split.

Q: Your regular season has ended. How would you evaluate the team's final score of 9-6 this regular season?

Coach: It's a pity that we weren't able to adjust ourselves very well in the middle of the Split.

Q: The whole team performed very well today. How would you evaluate you and iBoy's performances?

Meiko: I feel we performed normally. Sometimes we still make some minor mistakes, but we are trying out best to minimize those.

Q: Your Jarvan had a rocky performance in the first game with KDA OF 1/8, but you initiated a good teamfight by controlling the opponent Mid Laner with a clear mind at last. How did you adjust your mentality?

Jiejie: My mind was not clear and played a poorly in the early game. But later, I caught up with my teammates and did what I should do.

Q: It's a heated topic among fans that EDG often loses its momentum in the mid game despite a strong early game. However, you're usually able to make a comeback when the team is at a disadvantage in the early and mid game. What do you think the reason behind this is?

Coach: Maybe because we are unfamiliar with mid to late macro play. We prefer to end the game in the early phase and we seldom encounter a situation where both teams have a 50% chance to win in the mid and late game. They might be more wholehearted when at a disadvantage.

Q: You were targeted in both games. Though you were ganked frequently, you performed very well in the late game. What's the feeling of playing the match today? How would you grade yourself?

Jinoo: I am not content with my performance today. I shouldn't be killed so many times. There are still many things to adjust.

Q: The team managed to make a comeback in the first game and won game 2 smoothly. What's the most important factor to win the match today?

Coach: I think our team has a better synergy than before, so maybe the key factor is that we trust each other deeply.

Q: It took you about 50 minutes to win the first game. Do you think the result influenced the players' mentality and form heading into the second? Currently, the team is ranked 5th place on the ladder. Which team or who do you want to play against the most in Playoffs?

iBoy: We were really happy once we won game 1 so our mentality wasn't affected. On the contrary, the opponent team seemed to struggle with their mentality and kept starting fights. Since we are 5th, I hope we can play against a weaker team, but I don't know which team is weak in Playoffs yet.

Q: You said your Bot Lane duo had an advantage in the pre-match interview. What are the advantages? Do you think you two performed well  today?

Meiko: Maybe brcause iBoy and I have been partners for a longer time and the current patch fits us more, I think both of us performed well today.

Q: The momentum of the game was altered greatly from game 1 to game 2. How did the team communicate and adjust during the break?

Scout: I feel that we didn't change a lot. It seems like it was our opponents who had problems with their mentality.
