Funplus Phoenix defeated Bilibili Gaming with a 2-0 in today's LPL match, taking them to the top of the standings. It was a convincing victory for them, where they dominated BLG in both games with Doinb winning the MVP award twice.

Doinb: Because it looks really smart.

Q: Today your opponents, BLG, is team who is known to have good macro play. Did you expect to be able to take a 2-0 clean win against them today?

Doinb: No, I didn't. When we watched their games, we find that they tend to stall and pick late-game champions. So we just picked late-game champions as well.

Q: In Game 1, your team locked in Nautilus early and ended up flexing him to mid lane. Is it something you have prepared beforehand or decided on stage?

Q: In Game 1, you were ganked by Rek'sai along with Rumble but somehow you managed to get the double kill instead. Can you explain the situation to us?

Q: You picked Lulu in Game 2, making it the first time Lulu is picked in mid lane this split. What's the reason behind picking Lulu?

Doinb: They chose Karma, so I thought I'd pick a support oriented champion, thus I just picked Lulu. Karma's strength is her teamfighting ability; Lulu's is the ability to push the wave in lane and roam around. In comparison, Karma can't shove the lane but she is able to apply many shields in teamfights where else Lulu's shield is single target. I had faith in my jungler though, so I picked Lulu.

Q: Which aspect has your team improved the most from last split in your opinion?

Doinb: The biggest improvement is we no longer int after we get the baron buff, we now would just call back.

Q: We all know that you are digging into the Chinese examinations recently and it happens to be the first day of NCEE. The theme of Shanghai examinations is 'looking for Chinese flavors'. If you were a candidate, how would your compose an answer to that?

Doinb: For me, the 'flavors' would not only refer to Chinese cuisine, but also the passion from the fans and the happiness from playing with my teammates. Thanks for supporting us.
